Formerly known as Lynda, LinkedIn Learning provides video tutorials in several languages (English, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Mandarin, and Portuguese) – though not all tutorials in each of these languages. While it caters to a range of subjects, its strengths are in software tutorials, programming, project- and selfmanagement.
LinkedIn allows students – and staff – to self-study independently, i.e. instructors may point out – and/or share via curated playlists – specific tutorials for class preparation or follow up or flipped classroom teaching.
Most relevant tutorials for studio education may be those on the Adobe portfolio, Cinema, Blender, Ableton, programming foundations, and audio recording techniques.
