For a variety of reasons and uses it may be nice to create palettes of several colours that inherently work with each other. Adobe Colour Wheel is a free, intuitively usable colour picking tool with some limited additional functions that may come handy when transitioning a creative practice online.

As part of moving classes online during the Covid-19 emergency in spring 2020 many instructors began recording their live classes to later provide them for download for those who couldn’t attend (>asynchronous delivery), want to re-view and/or possibly also for institutional teaching evaluation/quality assurance purposes etc.
There are at least three problematic issues with the approach: Intellectual property rights (IPR), privacy rights, and inappropriate/unauthorised use of data/information.

Despite all best efforts, some areas in the visual arts ultimately cannot work entirely online. Especially disciplines based on a notion of manual craft that articulates primarily in skillful manipulation of materials – ceramics, glass, sculpture, maybe jewellery, fashion etc. – will eventually always want to incorporate a minimal proportion of analogue technique.
